Qwickly

Qwickly Plus Cloud increases the efficiency of sharing with members of multiple courses and organizations as well as simplifying tasks that need to be done repetitively in each course. Qwickly Plus allows you to add documents, post web links, send emails, post announcements and more to multiple blackboard courses and organizations in a single module.

Using Qwickly Plus Cloud Tools, you can upload and link to documents stored in ECU’s OneDrive for Business Cloud storage.  The Upload Cloud Content option allows you to upload content from your ECU OneDrive account to content areas in your Blackboard course(s).  The Link to Cloud Content Mashup allows you to link to content in your ECU OneDrive account from the Blackboard text editor. Save time by using the Link to Cloud option. As you update your course documents in OneDrive, your students will have access to the most up-to-date content

 

Adding Onedrive content to Blackboard from the Qwickly Module.

Please Note: Please Note: when you use the Qwickly Upload Cloud Content option to Link to content in your OneDrive account, the file(s) within OneDrive will show a status of ‘Shared’ with ‘1 link giving access’.  The Qwickly Upload Cloud tool is the ‘1 link giving access’.  You can remove sharing options within OneDrive by using the Stop Sharing feature or edit the content item within Blackboard.  If you Stop Sharing within OneDrive, you will need to create a new Qwickly Upload Cloud item if you ever need to share the document again within the course.  As with any other file students have access to in Blackboard, email, OneDrive, etc., files can be shared and forwarded.  

 You can LINK to onedrive content (preferred) or you can upload onedrive content.  Linking to content allows you to edit the content in onedrive.

1 -Choose from Upload File – Uploading from Cloud (Onedrive)

2 – If you chose Upload file browser locally to select the file. If you chose Link from the Cloud you will then be prompted to login on Onedrive.

3 – Select the Onedrive file and click Submit.

Adding Onedrive content to Blackboard from a Bb content area

1 -Click Build Content / Qwickly Upload Cloud Content.

2 – Give the content a Name and add text if needed.  Click the TAB button on your keyboard to advance to the text area.  Choose Onedrive.

3 – Choose Link from Cloud (preferred method of using Qwickly) and then click Browse Login to Onedrive and choose the file in question. Click SUBMIT.
