This session will teach you how to create, import, and export tests and pools in your Blackboard courses. You will also learn how to deploy tests and the settings that work the best to get the tests completed with the least number of resets. We will also look into Respondus, as tool which will allow you to copy tests from one course to another or multiple courses without ever actually entering Blackboard. This session is designed as a hands-on class, so please bring a laptop, and a class to work in.

Candidates for instructional positions are invited to meet all Fourteen (14) Principals and learn about the benefits of teaching in this progressive district. On-Line applications can be completed on-site. Candidates should bring several copies of a current resume, transcript/s (unofficial copies are permitted for pre-screening), and other pertinent documents. This session will narrow down and focus only on the creation of categories, applying the categories to your graded items, and then using those categories to create a weighted total in Blackboard, even if a category only has 1 item in it. If you are having trouble getting your grades to turn out correctly, this is the session you need to attend to “get down to business.” This session is designed as a hands-on class, so please bring a laptop, and a class to work in.

This workshop will show you how to use a SMART Board in conjunction with SMART Notebook software to design and organize dynamic presentations. Learn how to connect to your computer, manage objects, insert graphics, layer, link and lock objects and adding animations and reveals. Attendees who already have the SMART Notebook software installed on their laptop are encouraged to bring their computer.

May 9, 2015: COE Graduate Recognition Ceremony Spring 2015 at Minges Coliseum (Williams Arena)

The faculty and staff of the College of Education are pleased to present a special Graduate Recognition Ceremony (GRC) for our graduates. The ceremony will feature individual recognition of College of Education students receiving degrees.

Friends and families of the graduates are cordially invited to attend. It is not necessary for graduates or guests to RSVP for this event. Tickets are not required to attend the ceremony.
