Magnolia Arts Center-
The Magnolia Arts Center was founded in June 2005 with a mission to provide the members of the greater Greenville area with the opportunity to express their creativity and participate in the arts, attend quality cultural events, and gather together to build community. We want to reflect the diversity and richness of this area, and to present a multitude of artistic experiences to the region.
(Why? Local community theater that has some great gems, performances are usually held at the Music Academy of Eastern Carolina on Redbanks Rd.)

Farmville Community Arts Council-
The Mission of the Farmville Community Arts Council, Inc. is to establish and maintain an awareness and an appreciation of cultural arts in the community of Farmville through the promotion and encouragement of existing cultural and educational organizations, to assist in the establishment of activities where none exist, and to coordinate cultural and educational activities in the community of Farmville to avoid overlapping and duplication of efforts.

S. Rudolph Alexander Performing Arts Series @ ECU-
World class musicians and performers of all stripes grace the stages of Wright Auditorium at ECU.

The Four Seasons Chamber Music Festival-
The Four Seasons Chamber Music Festival brings internationally-renowned musicians to eastern North Carolina and beyond for concerts, master classes and interactive community outreach. In residence at the East Carolina University School of Music, the festival is celebrating its 14th season. Highlights of past seasons include more than 126 public concerts, 280 master classes, two performances at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall and a six-concert tour of Israel.

Greenville Choral Society-
The Greenville Choral Society, which started as the Greenville Community Chorus in 1969, is the largest community-based performing arts organization in eastern North Carolina and has as its main goal providing fine choral music for residents of Pitt County and beyond. In all, approximately 125 singers perform in the ensembles within the society.
(Why? Great choral works you won’t hear anywhere else in the area. Like to sing? Audition and join the concert choir!)

A Time for Science-
A Time for Science is a nature and science learning center dedicated to encouraging environmental awareness and appreciation and to advancing science literacy and competency by encouraging and supporting active participation, at all levels, in science, technology, engineering and math activities and programs.
(Why? Interesting science demos and environmental programs as well as guest speakers and events. BEWARE- much of the content is geared for children so scope out the website before you visit.)
