Laupus Library will host national traveling exhibit, “Against the Odds: Making a Difference in Global Health” beginning March 14 through April 23 in the Evelyn Fike Laupus 4th floor gallery. The six banner traveling exhibition highlights the role of communities in improving health at home and all around the world. The exhibition also explores the shared basic needs required for a good quality of life, including nutritious food and clean water, a safe place to live, and affordable health care.
We seek your help in support of the William E. Laupus Health Sciences Library. For nearly 50 years, Laupus Library has served Health Sciences Division students, faculty and staff, and together we have partnered in the amazing transformation of a fledgling health sciences program into a fully developed academic health center. As we approach the fiftieth anniversary of the Health Sciences Library in 2019, we celebrate our history and recognize our challenges.
Steven Lichti, Information Technology Specialist from the School of Dental Medicine, will present a 2016 Spring Semester exhibit as part of the Art as Avocation series. Entitled, “Visions of Nature,” Lichti will showcase a collection of photography that preserves the beauty of nature captured during his memorable travels. The exhibit will be on display in the Laupus Library 4th floor gallery beginning March 8 and will run through June 1, 2016. Please see attached flyer for more information.
