On Friday evening (October 5) the Department will sponsor a reception from 5:30 to 7ish at the Corpening Room, second floor of the Marriott. We hope to see current students, alums, and friends of the Department at this reception—even if you only have time to drop by for a quick chat.
If you will be arriving on Thursday (October 4) and are looking for somewhere to eat, the Department has made reservations at Bib’s Downtown for a dutch-treat dinner. The alcove has been reserved starting at 6:45 p.m. Bib’s is a three block walk at 675 West Fifth Street from the convention center. Please feel free to bring friends.
