Dr. Marson represented the Department of Library Science at the annual Book ‘Em Conference held at Robeson Community College in Lumberton, NC on February 23. The event brought together more than 75 authors, all interested in fighting illiteracy. The day’s activities included book signings, panel discussions and individual writers speaking about their works, and the writing and publishing businesses in general.
Some of the characters in attendance were the Cat in the Hat, Rumpelstiltskin, and Puck!
