Jennifer Baker, New Professional on the Move!

Recent graduate Jennifer Baker, who is the librarian for Pamlico County High School, recently presented at NCTIES in Raleigh about the Pinterest site she created for her school and about gaming in school libraries.  She also has a forthcoming article in the Nov/Dec issue of Knowledge Quest, “Beyond Death by Chocolate: Pinning Professionally in the School Library Media Center.”)  This October at NCSLMA, she will present on professional pinning.  In addition to these accomplishments, Jennifer’s principal invited her to accompany her to the AdvancED conference, which is a leadership conference for NC school improvement and accreditation.   Jennifer has applied for the NCSLMA Emerging Leaders program, and we wish her luck.  Congratulations and keep up the good work!
