Beginning of Semester Checklist

(New to Mediasite? You’ll want the New Users Checklist)

1). Submit a Shared Folder Request Form
You’ll need a new folder if you want to reuse last semester’s content during this semester. Your local Mediasite Administrator will create the Shared Folder(s) and connect them to your Blackboard course enrollments. Remember, the folder can be embedded in Blackboard and/or used as a direct link to your content.

2). *IMPORTANT* Sync your Blackboard-Mediasite content to avoid viewing errors:
From Blackboard, go to Control Panel > Course Tools > Mediasite Options and click Submit; you should see the message, “Mediasite Options Updated”.
