How to add a Wiki?

  1. Log into Moodle:
  2. Locate course in which to add a Wiki too.
  3. Turn Editing On” (located in the top right hand corner of the page)
  4. Under any module, use the “Add an activity” drop-down box to select Wiki
  5. Enter:  Name, description, and choose settings for the wiki
  6. Click “Save and return to course” or “Save and Display” to save the Wiki.

Note:  If you are going to copy and paste anything into the wiki, we recommend first posting it into Microsoft Notepad, to clear the hidden coding of characters or fonts, and then posting into the WIKI.

We recommend that you do text color changing within Moodle. Sometime Microsoft Word and Moodle’s color text font coding do not match up.
