Why did we choose to support the devices we currently support? Why did we choose the Apple iPhone/iPod first, then Android, etc.? Before and during the development of the new Onestop Mobile framework, we took a look at our usage logs for the Onestop and grouped the results by mobile device type to determine which device to support first and go from there.
The Apple iPhone/iPod combination made up the vast majority of our Onestop mobile users at 66% with Blackberry (15%) and Google Android (12%) coming in second and third respectively. Once iPhone/iPod support was made available, we moved to deploy Android devices since it was an easy transition from iPhone to Android. However, be assured we are currently working on Blackberry support for release this Spring.
