    Thank you for your critique. The sample size was based on the recommendation of my dissertation committee members and yes it is small. The research on incentives in online surveys is inconclusive. However, given the issues with online survey anonymity, I was pleased with this type of indirect incentive. I look forward to seeing how it works (at least with this population).

    Good poster organization. Good flow of details from left to right. You presented your information succinctly and appropriately.

    Your sample size (N=5) seems a bit small, especially given that you had 110 students in the course and 23 volunteers. I understand that your approach in this research was more qualitative in nature (asking participants about the survey and the process), but I still think your conclusions would be richer with a larger sample.

    I’m interested in your finding about charitable donations for each person who completes a survey. This seems like a good way to get participants to complete a survey and receive a “reward” (or at least indirectly receive a reward, as the ultimate reward goes to charity), while remaining anonymous.
