Welcome to the 50th anniversary web site for the ECU professional business chapter of the Society for Advancement of Management
The East Carolina chapter of the Society for Advancement of Management is a compilation of students from a variety of business majors that come together with a common interest in becoming stronger managers of business. Becoming a member of SAM builds bridges among academia, practitioners, entrepreneurs and students not only to better share management expertise, but also to develop and promote new management ideas. The goals of SAM strive to provide members with the opportunity to network amongst peers and professionals, thrive in team environments, and build professional development.

I am very pleased with the level of success that Society for the Advancement of Management has reached. As acting president I can say without a doubt it has been an honor to be a member of such an established business organization. This school year I look forward to sharing many great experiences with my fellow future business leaders who share enthusiastic and innovative ideas along with an unparalleled level of prestige.
Stephen Alan Charron Jr., President

I could not be more excited about being the vice president for the Society for Advancement of Management. I am proud of the previous accomplishments that have been made and the directions that SAM is heading. I think this is going to be a great year with all the well established business owner and manager guest speakers, SAM events, the case competition, and the great experiences that go along with being a member of SAM.
Alex Bosco, Vice President
