We are looking for a person passionate about healthy lifestyles to help our marketing team grow to new heights. This role will work closely with our experienced marketing team to drive several of our key brands, including but not exclusive to: O2 Fitness, CYCLEBAR Franchises, Happy + Hale, Parlor Blow Dry Bar, and Midtown Yoga. This role will primarily focus on projects related to the websites, email marketing, social media, digital advertising, and other digital touchpoints with customers. You will have the ability to be a chameleon in brand voice and work with the operating partners with each brand in the MDO Holdings portfolio. You will be challenged to think big, strategize, and bring valuable input and energy to the brand, the team, and the company.

This is an unpaid internship based out of our Raleigh, NC home office. Students may receive course credit for hours worked.


• Execute website updates through a variety of content management systems, including WordPress, Squarespace and mobile apps

• Draft and schedule social media marketing plans

• Assist with moderation of official social media accounts

• Assist with ongoing database management using the HubSpot CRM software

• Draft and build email marketing campaigns

• Create and execute automated marketing workflows

• Ensure friendly user experience by providing the most up-to-date information throughout the websites

• Track key insights across digital properties

• Curate content, including photos, videos and interviews, for blogs, social media posts and website updates

• Monitor brand Google pages and listings through key sites that attribute to SEO

• Brainstorm ideas for new marketing and social media engagement campaigns

• Other responsibilities as assigned by manager(s)


• Sharp attention to detail and astute proof-reading skills

• Strong organizational, written & oral communication skills

• An eye for photography and how to take insta-worthy photos is a must

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

• Knowledge/prior experience with HTML, content management systems and Photoshop preferred

• Prior experience writing, editing and crafting content for the digital media space preferred
