Marian Wright Edelman once said, “We must serve consciously as caring role models, emphasizing the ethic of service, not consumption.” Truer words were never spoken. Our ECU personnel needs to show that we are role models for our future generations.
February has been declared as a month of service by the UNC Staff Assembly. The focus is on service to our campus and local community. This is a great time to use some of the allotted 24 hours of community service leave we are granted each year. Get involved and volunteer!
