Don’t forget unused community service leave expires on December 31. Staff Senator Mark Metcalf was recently featured by the ECU News Bureau for his volunteer efforts with the Greenville Jaycees, in addition to organizing a Pamlico River clean up last fall. Full details are in the story: http://www.ecu.edu/news/markmetcalf.cfm
More information about using community service leave can be found at: http://www.ecu.edu/business_manual/Human_Resources_Policy13.htm#pol13e
You are invited to a holiday open house at Chancellor Ballard’s residence next Wednesday from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. For those that may not be familiar, his house is at 605 E. 5th St. It is across from Jenkins Art building. Parking is available at the Jenkins Art Building (if you have an A permit), parallel parking on the side streets, and downtown. With classes winding down for the semester, parking should not be too bad. We hope to see you there!
See the documents below relating to the State Health Plan. One is a presentation contribution rates, and the other is a detailed document with the questions submitted by Staff Senate and the answers as presented during our October meeting.
