Goodbye 2011, Hello 2012!!!

What do I have to say about 2011?

I’m definitely not sad to see it end. 2011 has had it’s ups and downs. I’ve lost two people that were close to me, still working on bringing up the GPA, didn’t get elected President or receive Elite Pirate. But I’m still happy that I’m still at ECU. I’m continuing my involvement in SGA, being an Orientation Assistant, working in the Dean of Students Office, becoming an NUFP Fellow, getting a tour of the General Assembly, receiving a fellowship to allow me to go to a conference in Texas, and made a 3.8 GPA for the semester.

Being able to help college students has become my passion and I’m glad I chose to enter higher education/student affairs. I’d like to thank 2011 for the ups, as well as the downs. Here’s to 2012.
