Hmm….what do I have to say about 2011? It’s been an o.k. year but I’m definitely not sad to see it end. Had a lot of ups and downs. Losing Mandy Kelly and Chris Murphy, two angels…I miss you with all my heart. Still focusing on bringing my GPA up, very difficult, but coming along. Didn’t get elected as SNCAE President or receive Elite Pirate. But I am happy for still being at ECU, continuing my involvement in SGA, being an Orientation Assistant, working in the Dean of Students Office, becoming an NUFP Fellow, getting a tour of the General Assembly, receiving a fellowship to go to Texas for a conference, made a 3.8 GPA for this semester and starting K.I.N.G.S. Helping college students is my passion and I’m glad that I’ve chosen to enter the field of higher education/student affairs. I thank God for all of the blessings and opportunities He has given me. I’ve made many mistakes, but the bible says “God is married to the backslider.” I am thankful for my family, friends, health, my mind. I’m just thankful for life and being in the place that I am…I am truly blessed 
Thank you 2011 for the ups, as well as the downs, because they made me a better person. Well….so long 2011, here’s to 2012- More happiness, more learned lessons, more friendships, more love and more destinies!!!
