Hope you all had a good winter break. I spent mine at home, which was great because for the first time I had a car to get around with and didn’t feel as trapped at the house. Christmas was a lot of fun. I got a lot of giftcards and clothes because I didn’t ask for much, but anything involving money is always good when you’re a (broke) college student. I finished last semester with pretty decent grades, but didn’t do quite as well as I had hoped. This semester I’m going for straight A’s, so we’ll see how that goes. Classes started Monday and I actually have enjoyed every class I’m taking this semester. They all cover a wide range of interesting topics which I really like. Other than school and break, the number one goal I have for this semester is to get a summer internship. I have just started looking, although I probably should have started way earlier last semester because application deadlines are quickly approaching. I would advise everyone to get at least one internship before you graduate from college because it is a great way to show potential employers your experience in the working world. As my search for an internship continues, I hope everyone has been applying to ECU because the deadline for admission will come faster than you think. This is around the time that I received my acceptance letter from ECU…I cannot believe that was already three years ago. Anyways, for those of you who have already been accepted, congratulations! Make sure you come for a tour and check out the school. You won’t regret it!
