Spring at ECU

My absolute favorite time of the year at ECU is Spring. Being that ECU is in the South, this means warm weather, baseball games, swapping in your winter boots for cute sandals, and relaxing by the pool. Our campus is always beautiful, but when the trees and plants start to bloom it truly becomes remarkable!

Out of all of the wonderful things that Spring brings to our campus, one of my absolute favorites is Open House! This past Saturday, April 6th, was the 2013 Spring Open House. I loved meeting all the potential future Pirates and sharing my love for my school with all of them! It was so exciting to hear how many of the current high school juniors and seniors are looking forward to being a part of the Pirate Nation! One of my favorite parts about Open House is talking to alumni who are returning with their children who are now prospective students of ECU. Interacting with those who attended ECU years ago and seeing how passionate they still are about our school helped remind me how blessed I am to be a part of a university where there is so much school spirit and passion even after graduation.

There is nothing better than Spring at ECU! I hope that all of you who are thinking about attending ECU will be able to enjoy this in your near future!
