As the semester comes to an end, there have been a lot of great events going on around the ECU campus and Greenville. Open house took place a few weeks ago and we had an awesome turn out. I was involved in a student panel in the morning and got to speak with a lot of prospective students and their parents. The panel gave me the chance to answer a lot of questions and hopefully help people decide that ECU is the place to be. I also got the opportunity to host tours for the College of Business and talk about all the perks of being a business student. Another cool event in Greenville this past weekend was Pirate Fest which took place in our uptown area. There was a lot of good food and entertainment, including a BMX show. The next big event we have is Barefoot on the Mall, which is ECU’s annual spring concert. Barefoot is one of our most popular events each year and is a great time to check out the different clubs and organizations on campus, get free shirts and other goods, and attend a free concert!
While I’m looking forward to the end of classes and school work, I sure will miss my time here at ECU and cannot believe that my last semester is almost over. The good news is that I just accepted a summer internship in Greenville and will get to stay here for the summer. For my internship, I will be doing selling and advertising for a company called The Campus Special. One of the best perks is that I get an all expenses paid trip to Chicago for training in a few weeks too which I cannot wait for! I’m really looking forward to the next few weeks of school and will make sure to do another update soon!
