I hope you’re all enjoying the Fall weather, FINALLY! Since I last blogged, the Undergraduate Admissions office has been slammed with tour goers, phone calls from prospective students, and all of us trying to put the final touches on Fall Open House.
Open House is a time for our future Pirates and their families to come to Greenville and get a feel for our city and ECU’s campus. You can go on campus tours, listen to welcoming sessions, visit resident halls, get information about the department you might be interested in, eat in our dining halls, hear some of our marching band perform, see some of our dancers perform, and much more.
Taking part in this experience is really like nothing else. Attending Open House at your future university is simply a stepping stone toward Orientation, Move-In day, and then the first day of school.
I strongly encourage those of you looking at ECU to register for Open House (www.pirateport.ecu.edu) and come see all that we have to offer. Whether you have already been accepted, haven’t received our decision yet, or haven’t even started your application, Open House is something you really need to take part in.
I hope to see everyone there! I’ll be on the Student Panel (:
Talk to you all soon!
