I have been in the Student Pirate Club every year since I was a freshman and I love being a part of such a great student organization. Sitting in the Boneyard during the football games is one of the most exciting experiences you will ever have. All of the students cheering on their team and hearing their shouts roar through the stadium gives you a rush that you can’t find anywhere else. The game starts off with a video to pump the crowd up and each year it changes a little. I will post my two favorite videos from my past four years here down below, maybe then you’ll see why I get so excited for every game! :)

The weather has been getting colder and colder as the semester draws to a close, but chilling *pun intended* around a grill in the Student Pirate Club tailgating lot with all my best friends definitely makes it worth while. Just remember to dress warmly and bring blankets, they are a lifesaver in the stadium if the wind is blowing. I hope everyone has a fun, safe time at the Homecoming football game tomorrow! GO PIRATES, BEAT TULSA! ARRRGGGHHH

About Shannon Parrish

Hey y'all! My name is Shannon Parrish and I am a senior here at ECU. Go PIRATES! I only have 1 more semester before I complete my Marketing and Supply Chain Management double concentration through the College of Business. Until a few months ago, I worked as a tour guide for the Undergraduate Admissions Office on campus at the Whichard building. I feel like being a tour guide definitely fit my personality well :) I consider myself a very bubbly person and it makes me really happy to be able to share my experiences these past four years at ECU. I hope to be able to show you why I love this campus so much so that maybe one day, you will be a PIRATE too! Arrrrgggghhhhh
