Career Paths at ECU

z2

Choosing a career path and what you want to study can sometimes make the transition from high school to college a lot more difficult and stressful.  When I was a senior in high school I didn’t really know what I wanted to study at ECU; I actually ended up changing my major three times once I got here!

It is normal to go into college undecided and to figure out what classes you like and what you are interested in.  A field that is very popular at ECU is the medical field.  ECU is home to the College of Nursing, School of Dental Medicine, the College of Allied Health Sciences, and the Brody School of Medicine, just to name a few.

A lot of students choose to take pre-professional paths to become nurses, doctors, dentists, and physical therapists.  Figuring out what you want to study and do after college takes time.  Find your strengths, find classes you enjoy, and the rest will come easy.  Once again, if you have any questions about what to study, what ECU offers, and ways to get involved feel free to email me at listers10@students.ecu.edu!
