The LGBT Resource Office and the Department of English would like to invite you to a  lunch discussion “Creating Spaces for LGBTQ Voices” this coming Monday April 2nd with guest speaker David Wallace.  Dr. Wallace is the chair of the Writing and Rhetoric department at the University of Central Florida and author of Compelled to Write: Alternative Rhetoric in Theory and Practice. He has written extensively about LGBTQ issues throughout his career.  During lunch Dr. Wallace will lead a discussion about his experience working toward equality for LGBTQ people. The event will be held in Mendenhall Student Center Great Room 3 from 12:00-2:00 on Monday.  Please RSVP if you are interested in participating in this discussion and enjoying free lunch! Please include mention of any dietary restrictions with your RSVP.  An event flier is attached, so please advertise to your colleagues and students!
