Tegrity Update | Fall 2016 | 1
Tegrity will be unavailable Tuesday, August 2 from 2:00AM to 10:00AM for planned maintenance and upgrades.
- Once Tegrity is back online, the recording software will update upon starting a new recording from the Web interface.
- We will also upgrade to a new Blackboard building block. Users should see no change in functionality.
What are the Key Steps to Use Tegrity Each Semester?
Step 1-Request Tegrity Classes
Submit your Tegrity request before the start of each semester. https://ecu.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/Requests/TicketRequests/TicketForm.aspx?ID=Zwm8DqhxIE4_.
When completing the Course ID & Section, use the example format HGMT5020-001.
Step 2-Move/Copy Recordings
If planning to use recordings from a previous semester or created by a colleague**, move or copy the recordings into your current course’s Tegrity space.
**Your colleague will need to grant you instructor or TA access to the Blackboard course in which the recordings you need to copy reside. Important: “COPY.” Do not MOVE your colleague’s recordings.

Step 3-Use the Tegrity Classes Link
As a best practice, we recommend directing students to access recordings through the Tegrity Classes link. However, if you opt to place links inside modules or folders within Blackboard content areas, those links must also be updated after completing step 2.
Private Courses Renamed
Private courses have been renamed to Sandbox. For example, Jane Doe Private Course is now Jane Doe Sandbox. The Sandbox is intended as a place to practice recording. Only faculty have a Sandbox.
