Integrating with Blackboard

VoiceThread (VT) offers four setup options based what you want your student to see when they click a VT the link. Below are explanations for each of the 4 types of links.

VT Home provides you and your students a private space to create and edit VoiceThreads before sharing them.

Setting up VT Home Tutorial

Course View

Displays a collection of VoiceThreads shared with the everyone in the course. Faculty and students can add and view VoiceThreads placed in this area.

Individual VT

The VoiceThread Course View link can also be used to link to a specific VoiceThread, rather than the full course view. This is useful when you want if you want to link to a specific VoiceThread inside a folder or module.

Graded Assignments

VT offers instructors an option to create 3 types of graded assignments.

Features
Create a VoiceThread Students required to create and submit a VoiceThread. Instructor grades in VT interface. Grades then post to Gradecenter.
Submit a Comment Students required to comment on a VT. A specific number of comments can be required. Instructor reviews and grades in VT interface. Grades then post to Gradecenter.
Watch a VoiceThread Students required to watch a VT. If student watches from start the finish, assigment is automatically graded. Grade then posts to Gradecenter.
