WHAT: Come dressed to get messy and help paint a mural, listen to live music and visit art vendors and a photo booth at 3rd and Jarvis streets in downtown Greenville.
ECU students, faculty and staff from Off-Campus Student Services, the Department of Geography, Planning and Environment and the School of Art and Design along with community partners from the Greenville Police Department, Pitt County Arts Council at Emerge, Tar River-University Neighborhood Association, University Neighborhood Association, Christy’s Euro Pub and Uptown Greenville will host the second annual Art + Community Block Party. https://www.facebook.com/events/1109923795687722/
Art + Community is a partnership uniting the university and surrounding neighborhood that aims to build connections and reduce crime through the creation and installation of art.
Music will be presented by Spazzfest: FS at 3 p.m., The Water Between at 4 p.m., The Still Shakers at 5 p.m. and Signal Fire at 6 p.m.
