Web Access – A copy of your files are stored on Dropbox’s secure servers. This lets you access them from any computer or mobile device.
Manipulate files as you would on your desktop – add, edit, delete, rename etc.
Security & Privacy – Dropbox takes the security and privacy of your files very seriously.
Shared folders are viewable only by people you invite.
DropBox is a great tool. Here in Dental Medicine, we use it all the time for shared access to files used in course management. Any group that needs access to a common set of files will, I’m sure, find that DropBox is the tool of choice. The free version will satisfy most needs, I’ll bet.
